What if I'm really far behind on my bookkeeping?

Absolutely. You’re not the first person to feel stuck, and you won’t be the last. We’ll take it step by step, get your records up to date, and put simple systems in place so it doesn’t pile up again.

Do I need to understand accounting software to work with you?

Not at all. We’ll manage everything for you, or, if you’d prefer to be more hands-on, we can show you exactly what you need to know in plain English at your pace.

I’m not very tech-savvy. Will that be a problem?

Not in the slightest. We’ll recommend tools that are easy to use and suited to the way you like to work. We can also provide training in bite-sized sessions, so you feel confident rather than confused.

What if I forget to send things or struggle with consistency?

We’ll set up reminders and processes that fit how your brain works, whether that’s quick check-ins, shared folders, or gentle nudges. Our job is to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

Can I just get set-up support and then manage it myself?

Yes. If you only need help getting started, we offer one-off setup and training sessions to get your system running smoothly. You’ll have everything in place to take it from there, with the option to come back if you need extra help later.

What’s the difference between bookkeeping and accounting?

Bookkeeping is about keeping your financial records organised day-to-day — logging income, expenses, receipts, and bank transactions. Accounting takes that information further, interpreting it, preparing year-end accounts, and advising on tax. We offer both, so you get continuity and peace of mind.

How often will you do my bookkeeping?

That’s up to you. Some clients need weekly support to stay on top of cashflow, others prefer monthly or quarterly updates. We’ll agree a schedule that works for your business.

Will you work with my current accountant?

Of course. If you already have an accountant, we’ll make sure your records are complete and accurate so they have everything they need at year-end. And if you’d like us to handle your accounts as well, we can take care of the whole process.

How do you keep my financial data secure?
